TOXIC TOXIC TOXIC!

Pros

There is absolutely nothing good about working here, run away!

Cons

Just filter the reviews to the negative ones because they reflect an accurate account of this organization. Another employee told me that allegedly every time a negative review is created, the business encourages someone to write a positive review - which may be why the positive reviews are very short and lack any insight. The culture at WFS is just toxic. It's a word often thrown around to describe an organization, but based on my experiences; there is no other way to describe it. My experience was that senior leaders lacked professional standards and bullied and intimidated employees when they felt threatened. Leaders would gossip and share gossip with other employees, which I witnessed and experienced. It is demotivating to come to work and hear from a fellow employee your manager had shared gossip about you with them. This practice often targeted good workers who weren't afraid to share their opinions and thoughts that may have challenged the status quo. Anyone with half a brain would because the place is so poorly run, and there is no clear strategy. If you are a "yes person", don't want to add value to an organization and like working for inexperienced and toxic managers, then this is the workplace for you! PS - If you still want to apply, I would ask if the company is being sold at the end of 2022?

Terrible Employee Experience - Ignore The Hype.

Pros

The workforce management solution they offer has merit and can be considered one of the best in the market. I was appreciative to have employment during the early stages of covid with many of my peers put on furlough.

Cons

A company that has pivoted to being experts in employee experience should consider first looking at their own culture. From toxic leaders to dysfunctional teams that fight amongst themselves, my experience was lack of synergy and trust amongst immediate and broader team members. One smaller regional team lost approximately twelve people in one year - which speaks volumes. My poor employee experience included: • Toxic leaders lacking leadership qualities that inspire confidence or trust within their team. • Some long-term employees were challenging to work with. Because of their long tenure, they were arrogant towards newer team members and adverse to new ideas and change. • Poor onboarding with a lack of documented workplace processes and procedures. • Poor sales strategy from leadership. • Projects took too long as there were too many meetings/opinions/thoughts and not enough action or resources to deliver. • Lack of empowerment to do your job or feel you're contributing due to micro-management. • Work/life balance is non-existence – because many teams are under-resourced, it’s expected to work long hours to compensate.
