Pros

+ Young and diverse teams to work with + Plenty of learning opportunities + Nice office & decent amenities (pool table, soccer table, gaming consoles)

Cons

- No clear company vision and mission - Below-average to average salary - Very high staff turnover - Lack of transparency and poor communication - Everyone is overworked and extremely stressed - Teams frequently pass the buck and fail to take responsibility - You will be hired to perform task A, and will be expected to perform B, C, D in addition to that. Training for tasks B, C, D will not be provided and you will also not be paid to complete these additional duties and roles. - Buggy and outdated product - Management micromanages and fails to delegate tasks and responsibilities. - Company moves extremely slow as every minor decision needs to be signed off by top management. - Poor work and life balance, you are expected to work (unpaid) on weekends and during your vacation - You will not be appreciated and seen as an expendable resource. - Failures are met with reprimanding and excellence often goes unnoticed.

Challenging Work in Corrupt Environment

Pros

You get to experience end to end work and will wear different hats.

Cons

Work is really exhausting you'll have to work on week-ends WITHOUT PAY because of heavy workload and you'll work on areas that you're not trained to do or you will do a job that is not written in the contract. It's not recommendable to others as it might be very stressful for them. There's also a lack of documentation if there's, most of the time it's not reliable at all and you got to cause an incident. Other executives are politicking the KPI of other employees and exercising the culture of favoritism you'll not be given merit for your hard work and dedication. That's all I hope it reaches the management to address these, you can have a company without a toxic environment if you take actions to address these areas.

Employer who doesn't care

Pros

- Pays on time - Friendly Admin and assistant - Good developers and colleagues

Cons

- MANAGEMENT. That's item #1. - They will assign you to a role you didn't sign up for and calls it "growth" - pays well but NO OT pay for forced overtime or weekend work, just compensation leave at MOST - No work life balance. You work at the office. Asks you to work at home. - Clients > Employees. Expect that they would rather look bad on you than with client ALL OF THE TIME - They love clockworks here. No time to relax. Would "Big Brother" you for all things you do in the office which makes you uncomfortable - Superbly Toxic Work environment, not a place for creative developers - Employees will get ill over stress and insane work times - Employees get affected of personal and intrapersonal relationships due to No time for family and friends - Apparently, "complete by end of day" means completing it before they want to check (not evening)
