Pros

- Talented engineering people and teams - Remote work

Cons

- No clear direction - Unrealistic deadlines decided by people who actually don't know what it will take to deliver the project - Don't care about mental health and employee burn out - People managers are supervising technical teams. So there is a huge gap in the tech team and managers. Also manager don't take stand for team rather push for unrealistic deadlines imposed by high management

Pros

There are still great and talented people at the company who are amazing to learn from and get to know.

Cons

Unfortunately all the good people are burning out, and it seems to be by design. The mentality is moving towards a "yes man" philosophy. If you are detractor, they don't actually want to understand why, they just want you out. Middle management routinely has the Officevibe pulse survey results questioned and used against their team (ironic considering the philosophy we preach to other companies about how to use those surveys). Over the years we have also seen new Leadership come in who has a toxic mindset, and HR (called CO at this company) does not care. What does it say about a company when they now value keeping toxic Leaders over the happiness of their employees? I still remember when years ago, the head of CO promised that we would never employ "brilliant jerks". Workleap has fallen so far from that culitural mindset since then. Bonuses are reliant on company performance, so do not rely on them. You will get yearly salary adjustments. These used to fair and at least meet cost of living, but for the past few years they have been below that. CO routinely changes the criteria employees are evaluated on without communicating it (for example, before I left they added "AI Saviness". No communication was put out on that prior). Changing strategies, milestones, and goalposts is common at Workleap. You will not feel like you are on stable ground.
