Organisation had a challenging and important mission that was inspiring to work on. Working here delivered an opportunity to be heard and influence on global issues, and with a group of passionate people based around the world. CEO's leadership raised the ambition of the organisation, built its financial health, and developed new and strong relationships throughout the sector. I was impressed by the genuine care, empathy and kindness from the CEO, and valued their guidance and leadership throughout my time there.
Cons
Inherent challenge of working with a globally distributed team with only virtual interaction. That was compounded with only limited opportunities for staff to meet face to face because of Covid. Challenging to balance the breadth of the mission with limited resources. Can try to be too many things all at once and would benefit from narrowing its focus.
