So much promise going to waste

Pros

Their aim is to make a difference to migrants - excellent thought , poorly executed Very diverse workforce Good benefits Met some people who were bravely holding the fort together

Cons

Wildly swinging on marketing activity overnight Millions of pounds poured into campaigns that people criticised under their breath in , overnight taken away and poured into another direction. Spent as much time doing work as undoing it. Lack of any strategy whatsoever -Seemed like people were pushing and pulling in all separate directions and the car refused to move ahead. The worst was that the company enabled managers with terrible behavior, bullies and people who should not be allowed near a workplace at all. The crazy hours were not due to anything except for the lack of planning and coordination between teams based remotely and work life balance was not even a concept.

Pros

A fantastic opportunity to work with and learn from the best: a visionary founder, an energetic and powerful CEO and a diverse and multi-skilled senior management team. A rare chance to be part of a firm which competes successfully in a global commercial environment with an underlying social purpose. Don't think too much about the free breakfasts, flexible working arrangements and other employee perks which you'll get --- the real benefit is the invaluable experience and learnings that will stay with you forever.

Cons

If you are not a high achiever or a person who wants to constantly improve, win and be successful in business, then you'll probably find some insignificant cons. Otherwise, you'll understand that business and the road to success is often bumpy, but worth it at the end.
