Pros
Was a great company now they are just a tiny toe on a huge body that would have no problem amputating that toe.
Cons
The company I worked for no longer exists.
Pros
Occasionally have catered meals and snacks provided.
Cons
Wages are low and not competitive. Management seems paranoid and clueless. Some people bring their drama to work and hold grudges with others. No room to better your career. Business isn't growing.
Pros
Worxtime offers a fantastic small work environment where everyone knows who you are. Management fosters a strong team oriented work environment where staff encourages and promotes one another. I have read other reviews here about Worxtime and can't help but laugh at how bitter ex-employees who are so out of touch with reality can be. For one, I am not a family member of the owners of the company, nor am I their friend. I am, however, extremely fortunate enough to have met them while they sought me out for a position at their company (and not through anyone I know or any incestuous or nepotistic way. It was actually through good old fashioned recruiting techniques). Aside from the owners, no one is in any position (especially a management position) because of any prior relationship with the owners. They (management and owners included) actually have quite impressive backgrounds and credentials, but these aren't necessarily things that employees at all levels would be privy to, so again, I just have to laugh. Regarding the cameras, as a matter of fact, this company is SSAE certified and as part of their credentials, they have security cameras in place as required due to the industry we are in. I am sure there is no one sitting around watching staff like a hawk on these cameras. I have had quite a few conversations with the owners of the company while I have been here and I can assure you they are the least materialistic people I have met. They are humble and certainly don't brag about having a BMW. And just for the record, there are at least three or four employees who are not in management who have a car that's worth more than their "used" BMW. Regarding their teenage boys being involved in the business. How awesome is that!!?? One in particular has a part time job at the company and works harder than any teenage boy I have seen. I love the fact that his parents make him work for what he has. That's a true statement to the character of the owners and their children. And by the way, if you might be so fortunate to work here some day, you will see how charming and polite they are. Someone mentioned there are NO BENEFITS. So I guess free employee medical (and not a HDHP!), free employee dental, vision, 401k and various voluntary benefits that are available constitute "NO BENEFITS". Another comment I read was about being too cheap to hire a qualified janitor. Again, I chuckle. I guess I would need someone to clarify what constitutes a "qualified" janitor. The owners of Worxtime are about giving people opportunities. The employees who work here have been here from the beginning. The business exploded and the growth was almost impossible to stay on top of. The owners, very intelligently, grew their staff quickly, and when the major work was done, they did what every business would do that has an obligation to their stakeholders to run their business efficiently and cost-effectively. That is, unfortunately for some, what resulted in some lay-offs. I can understand being bitter about not being selected to remain employed. Especially when it is such an awesome place to work. But I think it's important to make sure we share facts that are in touch with reality here, and not just personal attacks that have absolutely no merit. I am confident that any readers (especially the ones with any level of intelligence, morals and human decency as a prior poster has stated) of these posts can see through the drama and nonsense. Anyone considering working at this company, just go in there and meet with management. You can see what a great place it is to work, and how happy the employees are that remain there. I have no doubt you will be offered a fair rate for the job you are seeking. And while you're there, don't forget to stop in the bathrooms to see how sparkling clean they always are!
Cons
None, this is one of the best companies I have worked for.
