Pros

None after wrench acquired Yourmechanic

Cons

Everything after wrench acquired your mechanic. They acquired company and in contract stated benefits were going to remain yet after few months they changed both medical and vacation/sick time policy to medical being way more expensive from paying previously 20$ a month for awesome coverage to 160$ and having hard time finding doctors that would take the insurance. Company went from unlimited pto to 2 weeks a year for employees that had to be accrued. They completely screwed up on merging teams with people getting paid waaaay different wages for same job position. Some making 30 an hour while others 15 for the same position and we would be asked not to discuss or pay benefits with merged team. Company has had the same CEO for over 8 years despite it continuously failing to make company grow and they have had 8 restructures in less than 2 years. Their new brilliant plan is to replace US based employees that have actually been in the automotive industry for call center workers overseas with resumes and experience that look like they are about to be on a dating website. They have had several lay offs with people that actually knew how to run the business and they decide to keep those that have won popularity contest. Run from this place because you won’t last, some didn’t even make it a month.

Pros

Rev manager was understanding and respected his team. Time off was usually given, benefits were good.

Cons

Promise of growth opportunities that never arose. Stagnant. Sold out the people loyal to them. the company purchased YourMechanic and terminated dozens of employees once the platforms were merged. by email early into the work day. invited them to a conference call where everyone but the COO was muted, are only allowed into the office to retrieve personal belongings outside of office hours because they can't face the people they wronged.

Thank you for your review. A reduction in force is always a difficult decision to make for any company and weighed heavily on those involved in the process. Although there are few inaccuracies in your review, we respect your point of view. We encourage you to reach out to the HR department if you are still currently employed by the company for further clarification behind this reduction in force.
