Pros

I've been working for Writer's for over 2 years, full time, and I'm very happy with this job. They just increased paid time off to 16 days- which is great - plus I can telecommute and that is a great perk- saves me travel time & money on gas and wear and tear on my car. I've worked several jobs in many different situations- and this is one of my favorite. I love helping clients- and they are very appreciative. Way better than working retail, and having to work nights & weekends, and not use my degree in English! Also, staff ideas and suggestions are often put into place.

Cons

I wish pay was a bit higher, but it really is a great place to work.

Pros

Management cares about employees and works hard to meet customer expectations. Get to work with creative writers. Very nice coworkers.

Cons

None because company policy recently changed to increase PTO.

Pros

Get to use my MFA, writer clients are great to work with, nice bunch of people, hone my proofreading skills, etc. Hours are great. I can pursue writing and my music after hours.

Cons

Publishing industry is ever-changing (good and bad)
