Company leadership makes poor decisions under pressure
Pros
- The engineers that work there are both good engineers and good people - The PMs are competent at their job and generally take care of people
Cons
- The company at the moment of righting is not profitable and last years growth is not what the company expected, and the info shared by the CEOs is that we're not sure when and how we'll get the new investment - Company leadership started making poor decisions, for example on a town hall meeting CEO announced that everybody has to go back to the office in 2 weeks even though 2 months ago he said on the town hall that it will be each teams decision if they should go back to the office, and the worst part was that after that he said this was always the plan even though for years he was saying we are a remote working place - The product/engineering leadership is forcing changes which are poorly accepted by everybody in the engineering team, which made most of the more senior developers leave.
