Pros

It's a fairly welcoming environment. Since it's a small company, you have a chance to learn a lot about them.

Cons

Micro-managed to the point of frustration. I was asked, hourly, what I was doing by multiple different supervisors, which was very distracting and made me end up questioning myself. Everyone there is ridiculously serious, which was a major turn-off. A dull, cookie-cutter environment appears when everyone around you takes themselves too seriously. Analog engineering is fun, but just not there.

Small company means you can get your hands in a lot of different areas if you work at it. Plenty of hands on experience Fast paced manufacturing environment Fair bonuses and recognition

Training is non existent Mistakes are not easily forgotten

Short-Sighted and Dysfunctional Management

Pros

Excellent/ innovative product Great coworkers The company just started giving their employees a paid holiday on labor day this year in 2021.

Cons

Condescending "What type of a millenial are you" questions during the interview. Hyper-focused and micromanaging management was so tight-gripped and controlling that I was never able to actually do the job that I was hired for. Was not allowed to send an email without approval first from management. Management encourages questions to be asked to make sure that the job is done perfectly, especially because of high profile customers, then chastises employees and accuses them of constantly seeking attention and needing validation. Brings up needing to go to the doctor as a negative in reviews. Management expresses the opinion that they must not be working you enough if you talk about anything but work for more than a one-minute length of time. Never provided contact information for human resources. No HR department on site. Terrible healthcare insurance plans, no vision plans. Team building is not encouraged. Cold tense environment. Regular breaks are not encouraged. Interviews, reprimands, and firing of employees are done in the open breakroom/lounge as people walk by. This company was acquired just last month by an acquisition company that was founded within the last 10 months itself. Perhaps this last point isn't a negative against the company so much as an applicant beware.
