Pros

The members and staff are the best part of the job.

Cons

Silly business decisions and spending money the wrong way. Instead of spending money to improve the clubs or marketing, the money is spent on things that do not drive new business. Nor do they keep good staff. The good staff leave and find new opportunities.

Pros

- Good place to meet clients and jumpstart your personal training career. - Flexible Work Schedule. - Members are great to work with. - Free gym membership.

Cons

- Terrible pay that seems to progressively be getting worse (Management once cut employee pay and showed up to work the next day in a brand new car). - Very overbearing management that patronizes employees while doing nothing to actually help you get better at your job. Will blame employees and fire them for their own failures. - Witnessed sexual harassment to members by management and upper management on multiple occasions. - Ruthless sales environment that relies on dehumanizing people, locking them into 1-2 year contracts and sending them to collections when they cannot afford to pay. - Extremely high turnover. - Weekly mandatory unpaid meetings where they will make you sit through motivational youtube videos rather than improving their own leadership skills.

Cons

Incredibly long hours, misleading agreements about commission and salary, constantly churning new salesmen to burnout
