Pros

Remote work. There are some good people here trying to make an impact in spite of poor leadership and market headwinds.

Cons

If you’re considering joining this organization, I’ll suggest four lines of questioning to the hiring manager and leadership team. What is the turnover rate? It’s quite high. Why? What was the staffing size of the company 5 years ago? 10 years ago? Now? Dramatic swings. Why? What were your last two quarters sales numbers and what is your current sales pipeline? It’s weak. Would prior employees and leaders rejoin the organization? Unlikely. Why? Are the benefits competitive? Unlikely. Is there a written severance agreement that honors employees? Nope. Inquire to former employees about the CEO and you’ll hear recurring leadership failures also shared in other reviews; emotional manipulation, micromanagement, mistruths, isolation, rampant gossip and favoritism. It’s all true. It’s tragic. The award-winning culture they hang their hat on is a myth from a lost era of the company. One could question the legitimacy of pay-for-play business culture surveys and awards. In its current state, the culture is toxic. Failures to adapt to the market are evident in dated products, attrition and inconsistent customer experiences. Value is waning. Bonuses are non-existent. Salaries are stagnant. Benefits are reduced. Terminations are abrupt and unplanned. Staffing gaps are evident and fulfilling obligations is questionable. Hardship reveals bad leadership. The owner trusts no one, listens to no one, lacks vision and fails to lead transformation. She openly dismisses active employees and trashes the credibility of former employees. Departing was a relief.

Pros

Free swag? Remote work. That's about it.

Cons

All the bad reviews are true. 100% true. CEO likes to cry on meetings, there 100% is favoritism running rampant. Micromanages the sales teams (telemarketers). Hero to Zero culture. Gossip. Pointlessly long meetings. Infrastructure and platforms are broken. Fulfillment is a mess. Mortgage training products are full of dated materials. Lots of smoke and mirrors with KoolAid for everyone to enjoy. AVOID. Awful, AWFUL, place to work. (Unless you are one of the "chosen") check the average tenure of employees on LinkedIn and you will be able to see for yourself what time it is.
