      Pros

      Teamwork to get stuff done is awesome, but feels like blind leading the blind.

      Cons

      Useless management, no respect for each other or employees. All people that know what they are doing have left.

      Pros

      I have worked at YASA in total for almost two and a half years after completing a placement year from university, and I still enjoy it as much as when I started. I jumped at the opportunity to come back and work for YASA after graduation. I have learnt so much from working here and have been able to challenge myself in areas where I never thought I would. The work can be challenging but is always rewarding and has helped me grow as a person. The company has a real sense of family to it. Even though the company is expanding rapidly, HR work hard to maintain this sense of community within the company. Both the work and social aspects of the company really make YASA an outstanding place to work!

      Communication between departments could be slightly improved.

      Thank you for your feedback. Over the past 3 years we have continued to progress and make the transition into a manufacturing organisation from an R&D, Oxford University spin-out. Whilst there may have been a lack of processes in some areas in 2015, we now have the appropriate processes in place in order to meet customer demands, and we have continued to build our experienced management team. One thing that has remained the same, however, is the friendly, dedicated workforce who are willing to go the extra mile! We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavours.
