Pros

No women when I started. I expressed my concern and upper management bent over backwards to change it from frat/boys club to a good mix culturally and gender wise. I've worked for 4 amazing companies yet I have never felt more "heard" in my career. They will likely have 401k soon if they don't have it yet. Upper management is doing everything it can to create a good "playing field" for everyone on the team. I am still in touch with several people on the team/at the company and I hear nothing but good things about the changes. Lots of fun events. Upper management makes a big effort to invest in making it a "fun" place to work and give everyone a voice. Weekly "know your co worker" presentations where everyone rotates presenting a topic of their choice. Even interns. Everyone feels important/like they matter. Marketing is beyond impressive for it being a small team with a limited budget. Couldn't be more impressed w/their work. Sure, its better when u have a bigger marketing team/budget but go work for a big company if u expect perfect Salesforce -level system support. You can expect to learn a lot, grow a lot and work hard/play hard. The C-level management would at times do fun things like offering to make a call or 2 for you if you hit goals like being the first to get a "hat trick" or hitting ACV values. There is a happy, light, fun and trusting environment. Not a ton of micro management but enough.Great PTO/WFH policy. They play intramural sports, do book club, etc. Holiday party is very fun bc they fly the NY team in so everyone can celebrate together. I have some of the BEST memories from their awesome outtings/events.They are proof that it doesn't cost a lot to make work events fun. Halloween, St pattys (check their instagram account- they are having a blast playing jeopardy and other games even thru quarentine). You can tell from their instagram that they are doing everything they can to bring everyone together in fun ways. I heard AMAZING things about their new sales team leader. Apparently she is awesome! I learned my best sales skills from AE team. EVERY.SINGLE.AE. is an extremely talented sales person in their own way. I attribute my best sales skills to their influences. I wish I could go back just to a refresher sometimes! They are hard workers and genuinely good people.

Cons

No company is perfect--u can read the other reviews but take it with a grain of salt. This company is working very hard to make a name for itself and they deserve people who work there and appreciate what start up culture can be like. It wont be perfect, there will be frustrations, moments of unfairness, young personalities, etc. There's still an air of startup enough that there are moments of instability . Upper management will do everything they can to help you find success as long as you show initiative. Base salary has gone up since I worked there and I expect that will continue to as they find that they dont want to lose key employees. (At least I hope...). You wont like everyone but you will feel like you work with enough awesome people that it won't matter. Hubspot/Base/Zendesk is the toolset. I liked it but a lot of people didn't.

Pros

Fully covered health, vision, dental Lots of company events You get to learn from any department you have an interest in. Still has startup energy where anyone can initiate something great. The best tech of its kind in the market, competitors are all outdated. Growth here happens fast.

Cons

They were fully remote with an open door office policy and hired many non-local employees including managers, but now are hybrid only for local employees. If you are in sales, you have to be in 3 times a week. They never communicated the “return to office” expectation until a few weeks before. Sales team environment is very tech bro-y. Lots of favoritism. Management implements big product, partnership, and policy changes with little heads up to the employees, and things tend to roll out with a lot of holes and/or mistakes. Diversity is lacking. They celebrate toxic work habits like working through PTO, signing on before and after work hours, and doing things well beyond your job description for free. No one is sure what the next steps are or how long it will last as a standalone company.

Thank you for your candid feedback. We deeply value your insights as they help us continually improve and evolve as a company. We understand your concerns about the transition to a hybrid work environment. We aimed to make this transition as smooth as possible throughout the summer and implemented a trial period before the requirement became effective. This was done to balance our business needs with the well-being of our employees. We are actively reviewing our approach to ensure it caters to the needs of our employees and the organizational needs. Your concerns about favoritism and work-life balance are important to us. We are committed to promoting a culture of fairness and balance, and we are reviewing our recognition practices to ensure they promote a healthy work-life balance. We are proud to have won multiple Best Workplace awards, which we believe is a testament to our commitment to creating a positive and inclusive work environment. However, we understand that there's always room for improvement. Diversity is of utmost importance to us, and we are working outside the box to make an impact and promote balance, welcoming all forms of diversity. We encourage you to contact anyone on the leadership team including our CEO and Head of People to discuss this further. Your voice matters and can help us make our workplace even better. Thanks again for your feedback.
