Pros

Nothing, a complete waste of time and you gain nothing but frustration and stress

Cons

Managers like to bring their personal problems to work Depending on which location you work at, the higher ups pay no attention to you and expect you to bend over backwards and work more than what you’re getting paid for If you need time off, it’s more than likely you’ll be denied it If you have a problem with someone you’re working with, higher ups will give them a slap on the wrist and nothing will be solved Higher ups love to play favourites and give special treatment Higher ups love to say things you want to hear and do absolutely nothing about it

Pros

Will give you industry experience. Free lunches sometimes, although the food was always cold

Cons

To call this company unorganized would be an understatement. No one in upper management is on the same page about anything, most people in their positions are highly unqualified and would not last at any other company. There is a reason turnover is so high here… Work environment is toxic, the way some buyers speak to others is down right disgusting and they should be ashamed of themselves. This is a company that prides themselves on their “training and development” but saw none of that in my one year of working for them. They should start by having all upper management take a course in leadership skills because they are all severely lacking in that area. Salary is well below industry standards, and rarely give raises. Bonuses are unattainable and benefits don’t start until 6 months. I was nervous about working here because I had heard horrible things about the company but didn’t think it would be that bad. I was right, it was actually worse than I ever could have imagined!

Horrible manager

Pros

I loved my co-workers and the work I was doing

Cons

I am a naturally sick person, and my for my job I was able to do it remotely as it was a hybrid model job. But on one occasion, I felt too sick to make the hour drive ( didn't think driving feeling dizzy would be safe) and asked my manager if it was ok if I worked from home that day. She responded with "if you can work at home you can work in the office", so I instead took the day off. On another occasion I got sick at the office ( I puked in the bathroom), and I had told the same manager and she responded with "this isn't ideal". So I left for home afterwards only after she told me I had to send a doctors note if I wasn't going to come home the next day--which my doctor then informed me wasn't legal for manager to ask of me. My manager in general is what made me quit my job, I never felt comfortable and she made me feel bad about getting sick which was never in my control.
