Pros

Benefits start from day 1. Trainer was nice.

Cons

Training advertised as 6 weeks but lasted about 1–2 weeks before live calls. Heavy KPI micromanagement and high turnover. Limited sales success observed among reps (even long term ones). Dialler lists overworked hundreds of times, with pressure to increase dials despite low connection quality. Compensation did not align with expectations or effort required. If you enjoy high call volume, resilience training, and developing a strong relationship with voicemail greetings or “stop calling me!”, this role may be a good fit.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and for acknowledging that we provide comprehensive benefits from day one. It is something that truly distinguishes Yellow Pages from many other employers. Digital media sales is a high-performance, high-activity environment, and we are clear from the interview stage that this is a KPI-driven sales position requiring resilience, consistency, and strong call volume. That said, it also offers significant earning potential through an uncapped commission structure. Following the ramp-up period, which can vary from one individual to another, many representatives are able to fully leverage this structure and see the financial rewards tied directly to their performance. It is true that there is a stronger managerial presence at the beginning of a sales career with us. Our intent is not to micromanage, but to provide accessibility and support during what can be a challenging transition, particularly in a remote work environment where new hires can sometimes feel isolated. Early-stage coaching, structured KPIs, and close follow-up are designed to help build habits, confidence, and skill development while ensuring new team members have answers and guidance when they need it most. Regarding the dialer and lead quality, we genuinely appreciate the feedback. We have dedicated teams who continuously review and refresh lead sources and dialer lists to improve connection rates and sales opportunities. We remain committed to refining our tools and processes so that our sales representatives are positioned for success.
