Pros

You work when you want to, you do your own planning. You are self employed and enjoy every pro of that.

Cons

You are self employed:no paid vacation, no sick days. I work currently at the Telefonica Project. They have hired so many advisors that there are no longer shifts available. Loyalty means nothing in this company. After 3 years I found myself without the possibility to book shifts. My KPIs are excellent apart from one month, that led to me not being able to work, since there were no shifts. Once you get in this vicious cycle of not having shifts it is almost impossible to recover, due to their idiotic system. This is the worst working experience I have ever had.

Pros

No Pros at the moment.

Cons

Despite assurances that there would be minimal pressure on sales quotas and that they were achievable by everyone, my experience working at O2 as a consultant has been markedly different. The reality has been an intensely challenging and stressful environment, characterized by relentless pressure to meet sales targets that often seem unattainable due to unrealistic expectations set by management. This stark contrast between promises and the actual work conditions adds an element of disappointment and frustration to the overall experience. The consistently tense work environment, coupled with the looming threat of termination for those unable to meet these high quotas, has created an atmosphere of anxiety and fear. It's disheartening to see that an exceedingly low number, just 1 out of 25 team members, consistently achieves these demanding goals. The high turnover rate further compounds the sense of instability, with the unsettling realization that each month, at least one colleague faces termination due to not meeting these challenging quotas, which, as promised, should have been achievable by everyone. Despite any potential strengths in other areas, the immense pressure on sales associates at O2 has had a significant impact on morale and mental well-being. The lack of alignment between promises and the actual work culture regarding sales quotas adds an extra layer of disappointment. In summary, despite promises to the contrary, the work culture at O2 revolves around an unrealistic sales quota that appears disconnected from the initially communicated expectations of minimal pressure and achievability for everyone. Prospective employees should be cautious of this disparity when considering a position at the company.

Dear Freelancer, thank you for your comment, which we would like to respond to. We are sorry to hear that your experience on one of our client projects was negative. In all our projects, we make sure that goals are communicated clearly and in a timely manner and that they are achievable. Our turnover rate is between 3-6% per month, with the majority of talent leaving of their own volition. We work with our freelancers as equals, we are the client and they as contractors can reject our assignment at any time. You are therefore not bound in any way to the client or the focus of the assignment. We would like to invite you to apply for other client projects and hope that you will find a more suitable environment for your next project. With kind regards your yoummday team

Pros

- Good company culture - Office management -

Cons

- I was hired to the TL position with the promise of receiving mentoring and guidance, however, the OM was very indifferent. - I was helping launch a new project. The OM did pretty much everything and won't really keep me in the loop. He even took over the hiring process, which pretty much stopped for a few months. Then when my probation ended they said that I wasn't preforming like they expected and wasn't bringing in the results. I then got replaced by freelances that I had been training. Either I was doing a good enough job training them, or I wasn't doing a good job and shouldn't have been replaced by them. This just shows that the OM used me as his scapegoat for his lack of performance. All this to say, the company is nice, but no matter how you dress a call center, it's still a call center. For people that want to work there as freelancers, you get the same experience as other call centers, the only difference is that they can "fire" you at any point cause you are not protected by a contract.

Dear former employee, thank you for your review of your employment with yoummday. It is nice to read, that you liked our corporate culture and also our office management. Based on your evaluation, we are unfortunately not able to assess exactly which issues were involved in your situation. If you need to talk further, please contact us again, especially about the issues in your team, so that we can examine the facts in more detail. We don't quite understand your point about our talents. Yes, it is a freelance job, but our talents have much more freedom, earning potential, flexibility and also the possibility to work remotely from anywhere in the world - that's what differentiates us from stationary call centres and many talents really appreciate that. Too bad you see it differently, but as said we are always open for a personal conversation, contact your former P&C contact person at any time. Best regards your People & Culture Team
