Culture is a little odd - you may feel out of place if you’re in your 30s or younger.. YPTC seems to attract very seasoned, experienced people , however not all are very tech oriented.
Pay is low, they pay OT , however there’s some guilt tripping when you bill the client more than the contracted amount, so where do you record the extra time? No where—- there’s no regular admin code to book this time. Plus, they invoice their clients WEEKLY without review/approval of what’s being billed, there’s never enough time to adjust hours or decide what to do with your “extra” time
They didn't provide company laptops until late 2021 (POST quarantine) . I always thought this was very unprofessional and not fair to the employee, and a huge IT liability for them too.
Even if you’re a CPA, you can’t add it to your name or signature… super weird
You get called Associate even with 15+ years of experience.. maybe a little old school? in current
times Associates are the 1st year , right out of college kids… will never understand this.
The 7hrs day sounds good but in a remote environment, there will always be requests that come up after the fact.
