Pros

smoothies and snacks at the office is unfortunately the only pro here.

Cons

They undervalue their team members by paying extremely low salaries but demanding long over hours due to ever changing strategies (thus all work and planning in the bin) over the whim of the female founders’ desires. Multiple people ended up with a burn out and work anxiety. Both founders are megalomaniac, using his testicle cancer story as a cash cow, selling products as ‘super’ mixes without any scientific backing and outrageous health promises. They hire and fire without any sense of regret (forcing people to move countries for the job even though it was posted as being remote, then firing them a week later leaving them entirely stranded). The female founder is the most vain and ignorant of the two, she’s never worked for an actual company apart from her own and should’ve stepped down from any deciding functions years ago as she and her husband have steered this business towards bankruptcy over and over.

2 Glassdoor profiles to trick you

Pros

You will get close with your coworkers because you’re in a chaotic foxhole with bombs being thrown at you every week from the founders at their whimsy. You will basically be enrolled in an MBA-level crash course in how NOT to run a business

Cons

Where to start? If having two Glassdoor profiles to cover up how terrible the environment is, how incompetent the founders are, and how they’ll use and abuse you under false pretenses of promised growth and promotion later without any actual reward available, is not a huge red flag to you, here’s some others: - No learning or development - Poor work life balance -Mistreatment of entry level team members - Mistrust among all departments - Poor communication from the top down - Changing priorities so much that nothing innovative ever gets done - Questions about your worth and competence if you don’t agree with founder decisions - A management team that blindly follows the founders, even if that makes it an unsafe environment for their own team - Sexism and unconscious bias, this is not a safe place for women or POC - performative actions when morale gets so low the founders feel like they have to act like they care. None of these listening sessions go anywhere.

Pros

Flexible work from home policy

Cons

In short, this is by far the worst company I have ever worked for. I am writing this review to warn those who are debating whether or not to work here. I was so excited to work here - a company with a mission of making the world a healthier place. If only I had known what I know now. The recruiting team does a fantastic job at explaining why the company receives so many poor reviews. Looking back, I wish I would have listened to the reviews because they were all true. The CEO and CMO are the founders of the brand. Both are utterly inept and have no business running a company with over 100 employees. They hire experts to help build out each of the departments; however, the founders RARELY take the advice these experts and believe they know more than they do. One of the founders would often make crucial business decisions based off of a good feeling, even when the data said to make a different decision. As a result of their refusal to listen to the advice of their employees, the turnover rate is through the roof. The people who are successful here are those who agree with the founders, and never offer up their true opinion or constructive feedback. Additionally, they will make false promises to you. There are no growth opportunities, and raises are rarely given. I personally received 10/10s on all my quarterly evaluations and was rewarded with “keep up the good work.” Bottom line, do not waste your time here. You are worth more than this company will every make you feel.
