      - Working with kids becomes very rewarding. - Adapt trusting relationships with staff and young people very quickly - The fun activities and memories you create - Being a part of shaping the future of our young people - Opportunities to work over time and at other youth service locations within the surrounding areas of the company. - Frequent staff training. - Bring your ideas and opportunities to the table

      - Staff can become complacent when it comes to briefing and being on the same page - Lack of leadership in certain areas of management

      Pros

      You get to work with some amazing young people within the Lewisham borough, who are destined for greatness and passionate about their futures. There are many opportunities to develop your skills through certified training.

      Cons

      Some of the staff, especially in the management roles, seem to only care about "the money"... Not all designated clubs operate in this way, but often takes they don't share the same passion and values as the youth and play workers.
