Pros

Yuga is a constantly evolving and growing company. Have been here for almost 1 year but feels like a lot more because of the amount of opportunity one has to make an impact. You must be open to change but you can feel comfortable in engaging leadership about the direction and changes the company is making/going through. One of the more diverse environments I have worked in.

Cons

The pace is incredibly fast and sometimes information is almost withheld from others (not on purpose) but I think its more of a growing pain vs a Con

Pros

Some great people that are really passionate about web3. Pay is good for a startup.

Cons

Three CEOs in three years. No strategy. Founders pivot company every couple of weeks. Projects they approved get cancelled at the last minute. One founder threw a whole team under the bus publicly on Twitter. Company is a lot of creative-agency types trying to also build software with no experience and engineering has no say in product decisions. No processes in place and culture is political and all about who has the founders ears. People raise issues and nothing ever gets fixed. Leaders actively fail or their teams are a not well managed and there’s no accountability. It's a mess.

Thank you for sharing this feedback. We appreciate it. Unfortunately, some of what you’re saying here has truth to it. Unlike most seed-stage startups that face these exact challenges in stealth mode, Yuga has the unenviable position of learning from (and making) our mistakes on the world stage with a captive audience. We know we have a lot of work to do in terms of how we execute, how we make decisions, and how we communicate with each other, and we are energized to take this on with Garga back at the helm.

Pros

Swag, Good Benefits, Flexible PTO

Cons

I've been at this company for two years, and it's been a downward spiral the entire time. The level of disorganization is staggering, matched only by the immaturity of the leadership team. We've endured multiple rounds of layoffs, and now it's exhausting to even think about job hunting - be prepared to explain why you stayed at a failing company and defend yourself against assumptions that you contributed to its downfall. The most frustrating part? This company somehow managed to secure a historic $450M in funding and proceeded to squander it. You won't gain any valuable skills here unless you count learning what not to do in business. The founders are clearly in over their heads and lack the ability to run a company effectively. Instead of taking responsibility, they point fingers at everyone else. To make matters worse, they regularly go on X and blame everyone around them for the company's failures instead of looking inward. Here's some free advice to the founders: it's time to face the music and take a hard look at yourselves. I'd rather become a street cleaner than continue working here. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place at all costs.
