      Run away- fast as you can.

      Pros

      There are good people at Yugabyte who have been fooled into believing in this company and it's leadership.

      Cons

      If you are considering working at this company, don't. Run the other way fast as you can. Never have I seen such a dangerous combination of arrogance, incompetence and cowardice as I've seen from Yugabyte's leadership. The longest story, short...the company is a dumpster fire. Run away fast, unless you're a C-player and can't find work anywhere else.

      Pros

      Unlimited PTO. That is it - that is the only pro I can think of.

      Cons

      Headcount planning and workforce management is horrendous here. Constant hiring spurts almost immediately followed by company-wide layoffs.

      Worst Manager and Poisonous/toxic Work Environment

      Pros

      Will get a chance to work with the latest technologies in the database. There are really good numbers of intelligent guys from whom you can learn a lot.

      Cons

      1. Arrogant managers who don't know basic management principles. Never satisfy and believe the team. 2. Managers do Scold in front of teams and always compare with others. 3. Always rush for a quick fix without considering the quality. 4. Even though the person has zero knowledge on database internals, people consider him a database expert, which really makes me surprise. 5. Never be happy with your work and always expect 24/7 you need to be in front of the laptop. 6. Very toxic and scary work environment.
