Pros

Supportive teammates and opportunities to gain experience

Cons

Frequent layoffs create a stressful and uncertain work environment. Job security is a major concern, and morale is often low due to constant changes. Management can be difficult to work with, with limited openness to feedback and a tendency to prioritize their own perspectives. Communication is often unclear, and opportunities for growth are limited.

Pros

I like working at Zūm Rails because it is remote. I can work anywhere as long as I follow the Montreal time zone. Another aspect I enjoy is the fact that there is not much bureaucracy; I need to get my work done, and everyone is happy. It is also very nice to attend important company meetings, speak, and propose ideas. For example, it is nice to see a product feature that you proposed being developed and going live.

Cons

Since everyone is remote, there is no way to get the entire team together; this is a con. Sometimes, the team gets too cold, and it is good to have an office to go to and work together with coworkers, but it's understandable. It might be good to encourage the team to get together in different locations.
