Pros

Solid pay, offices in good location, dog friendly offices

Cons

Product seemed to be inferior to competitors, don’t understand how to beat competitors, sales org is a mess = changes every week that benefits no one, no real timeline for promotion path, misleading information during interviews about health of company, unexpected layoffs, poor morale, complacent with 2nd place or worse.

Pros

Zaius was awesome when I joined- amazing and motivating management. After almost 2 years there I had seen 3 major changes in management and many people being let go unexpectedly.

Cons

No one feels secure or safe in their jobs. There are no PIPs, and those who get let go have no warning. Some departments are incredibly unprofessional and drink every day at lunch.

Pros

Amazing product, great sales staff (at lower levels), and solid pay!

Cons

My views are specific to the sales organization and do not reflect on any other department at Zaius. We can all agree that a company must continuously invest in facilities, team outings, pay and compensation, and other fun perks like free snacks. However, Zaius seems to forget the most important investment you can ever make as a company: People! This may seem like a very simple platitude, but it is something that Zaius refuses to do as an organization, and that starts at the highest levels of the company. In my experience, many companies fall into one of two traps (sometimes both): they either under-invest in processes and systems, or under-invest in their staff. Both scenarios can lead to less than ideal outcomes, but under-investing in your staff can lead to a far more disastrous outcome such as high turnover and rock bottom morale. It's time for the leaders at Zaius to find themselves, and that starts with looking inward. Zaius' future lies in the hands of its leaders... it already has the right people, and the right product!
