Pros

Hip culture, good snacks, cool office manager, nice rooftop space, good parties to offset bad morale. Name perfectly fits the culture (a bunch of sharks), some inspiring projects.

Cons

Abusive culture of "mean girls and bullies." It is actually illegal the way they treat people, especially certain account people management continues to reward. It will catch up with them - always does. The ones with the most superior attitudes have the least talent. It's hard to do good work with all the infighting, insults and entitlement. They even fight over bringing their dogs to work (a joyful thing). Culture is completely unprofessional and fosters infighting (think: the school yard).

Pros

Cool office in a prime location. Great parties and happy hours. Lots of free food. Pay is pretty good.

Cons

Bully central. Working there is like being in high school and dealing with a mean coach all day long. The bullying starts from the very top and trickles all the way down. Total lack of professionalism. Team emails from the highest up use words like "stupid and lazy." Constructive criticism does not exist here. Employees are treated more like a sports team than a creative team. Fear and intimidation are the tactics used to encourage people to work harder. There is zero work life balance. Employees are given 14 days off a year, period. Even after pulling 12-14 hour days for weeks on end you MIGHT be able to get a half day off. No sick days, so come winter, watch out. Everyone comes to work sick and you'll get whatever's going around. One coworker was put on 3 pitches in a row, worked just over 2 months without a day off. They started having physical problems from the stress and when approached management about the issue they were let go for not being able to keep up the pace. And what is all of this even worth? Some hokey, silly ad that'll never win an award? No thanks. My experience working here was that of an abusive relationship and I would not encourage anyone to walk into that hot mess.

Pros

Office space is truly hip, location is cool. Work-life balance exists for top tier management - not always below. Upper management is trying yet unable to control personality issues that effect all other aspects of the agency and work delivered.

Cons

The environment fosters bullying by the mid-tier account team that cannot be controlled by upper management. It is a truly disrespectful, dysfunctional and hostile agency. I do not recommend working there for anyone with any self-respect and talent.
