Pros

-Relaxed atmosphere -Free food/snacks -Insurance benefits -Some company events

Cons

-Don't believe the recent positive reviews. Company is trying to retain employees and not scare away new ones as the reviews keep dropping -Middle management is improperly trained. Some lack basic communication skills. Also middle management is rarely available. Most are running from meeting to meeting looking busy. The only things that is being accomplishing is micromanaging. -Everything about cliques, gossiping, and favoritism is true. Management encourages company happy hours and drinking with your superiors is the surest way to get noticed for any kind of promotion or movement within the company -There are no real opportunities for promotions. You can try to bounce around from department to department with no real pay increase. Management keeps talking about career advancement and training/cross training but it's nonexistent. -Training is lacking. Even though this is a niche market there needs to be a better system in place besides just sit behind this guy and see what he is doing -Company is trying too hard to be cool. It's like they are going through a midlife crisis and it's almost embarrassing at times. They want to appear fun and inviting so that 1) new employees don't leave once they realize what kind of mess they have gotten themselves into and 2) so that they can keep getting some rewards related to being a good place to work for millennials. It's a smart strategy since by attracting millennials they can keep the wages low and try to solve any problem by drowning it in cheap beer. -If anyone speaks out about an issue it's just swept under the rug. Management thinks that things are running smoothly but in reality there is a real communication breakdown as well as favoritism in terms of any type of promotion. Although it's not really a promotion when the company just keeps making up new positions for their favorites and doesn't care about everyone else.

A Company to Avoid

Pros

The only good thing about the company is that there is no dress code. You can pretty much work anything to work.

Cons

Where do I start? If you want to work at PayLease, please think again. It's all smoke and mirrors. PayLease's management team has poor leadership. They do not empower their employees, very unprofessional, and most of them are inexperienced. Management will put their employee/s under the bus to save their own behind and will not give you any responsibilities to help their employees grow because they are insecure. The only way to move up in the company is if the management team likes you or if you sleep with them. Otherwise, there's no upward mobility. Employees who are terminated are scapegoats for management's own mistakes who cannot take accountability for their part and to mask the real problem. The company had put together a panel of women managers in PayLease to create a seminar to empower women. It was supposed to be a safe zone to ask any questions or voice your opinions freely. Not true. A questioned was asked by one of the employees about, "the boys club". One of the managers in panel was clearly upset by the question/comment. Soon after that, the employee who asked the question resigned. In addition to poor management, there's always something breaking. Instead of fixing the problem, a band-aid will be placed until it breaks again (band-aids everywhere) and their security system is not up to date. How is our "confidential" information protected when there's nothing in place?

Pros

Honestly, I can't think of any.

Cons

This company is a joke. Just take a look at their company pictures- its exactly like what you'd think. It's like working at frat house. From the CEO right down to middle management. There would be more bad reviews on here, but they pay people to sign gag orders. Management thinks they are being slick with their fake smiles and endless positivity. Amateurs. Also, unethical. They even laugh about how much money they make off of low income housing payments, which is significant. Shame!!!
