      Massive hiring turns into massive laid off

      Pros

      - flexible working hours - free lunch

      Cons

      -nepotism everywhere, promotions and hiring mostly not merit based, rather on how close you are to the founder etc -no transparency about company financial condition, the laid off came as a surprise -islamophobic founder -cant cash paid leave or overtime -HR are not transparent about the cost of fixing office tools, and many other thing -no grounded research for any project. Most of the project or decision came from the higher ups subjectivity

      Flexible working hours, that's it.

      Cons

      -Strong office politics and decisions based on subjectivity (personal beliefs) -No career path -Toxic culture -Judging your personal beliefs (religion) -They don't really care about your performance -Claimed themselves objectively, but in reality, decision-making is based on subjectivity -Hypocrite (company value and how they really run the company do not match)

      - some (very few) people are kind and smart - wfh and hybrid - quite flexible working hours (task completed)

      Cons

      - upper level people are VERY TOXIC to the extent judging u based on your religion and NOTHING IS MERIT BASED just some groups of family-ness unhealthy culture (strong office politic) - they also give very little transparency and little benefit
