The work-from-home setup was removed and later resumed for other departments, which feels unfair to CS Executives because we genuinely need this type of setup. With the current inflation, working from home helps us save on transportation and food expenses.
Although the company provides a shuttle service, the service is not reliable. Some drivers do not perform their duties properly, and there have been instances where drivers prioritize sleeping instead of following the schedule. In addition, employees on the morning shift are not even covered by the shuttle service. Because of this, it feels like a waste of company resources.
Our salary is also barely enough to keep up with the rising cost of living. While we did receive a salary increase, inflation has significantly reduced its value, and many of us are just getting by.
We were also transferred to a shared-space building, which is disappointing considering the company's profitability. Even the lockers are shared. It's difficult to stay fully motivated when basic employee needs are not being prioritized.
We always want to deliver the best service our users deserve, but if you were in our position as employees, it would be difficult to consistently give 100% under these circumstances. The workload is very demanding, and if you are not ready for commitment and hard work, this may not be the right role for you.
As much as I want to give my best, sometimes it feels like it isn't enough. Our Site Director often reminds us that we owe our users the best possible service, and I truly believe that. However, employees also need support and working conditions that allow them to perform at their best.
Despite these challenges, the experience I have gained and the people I work with are genuinely great. They are one of the main reasons I continue to stay with the company.
