Pros
I cannot lie that during the time I spent in Zettabyte I have learned a lot in a short of time. For the first time I have achieved my biggest salary of my life and I was so proud because finally there is a company that I thought, genuinely appreciate my value. I have learned to work fast under pressure. I have learned to be a far better leader by not being a leader that has been taught by the management here. I have learned to be feared, not respected. So from now on I will practice to be a respected leader. I have learned to have trust issues to people who work with me, so from now on I will learn to trust more to my team. I have learned that working won't always be fun and positive. I have learned to work in an amazingly volatile environment. What I mean by volatile environment is one time you can enjoy working, but the next thing you knew suddenly there is a big problem happening the situation turned so intense. In short, I have learned that working could be so hard, unfulfilling, and emotionally draining. It made me accepted a new reality that the world is not always full of rainbow and sunshine. The most important part is, it taught me how to prevent/avoid being in this kind of situation again in the future. I also cannot lie that through Zettabyte, it taught me so much that it left me with some kind of anxiety and scars. Zettabyte is meaningful for me that I really took the time to write this. So, I thank you a lot Zettabyte.
Cons
I wrote the cons here for the sake of everyone in the future who might accidentally stumbles to this review: 1. The biggest problem in the company is only one thing. The decision maker for almost every line of department in Zettabyte. The problem is, the decision maker is not objective, not professional, prefer to be feared than respected, dictator, sexist, a bully, verbally abusive, disrespectful, and practicing favoritism. 2. Still relating to point number 1, it is hard enough being a woman in general, but it is much more harder being a woman in Zettabyte because of this decision maker way of leading and managing. He is very sexist, manipulative, and always initiating uncomfortable behavior towards woman employee. Just imagine, is it normal when people, especially woman, cry almost everyday because of 'work'? 3. Relating to point 2, woman is not a trophy, woman can work and surprisingly lots of woman work better than men. Please don't undervalue the quality of woman just because certain woman is good looking in your eyes. 4. Punishment for failures. One of Zettabyte motto is 'dare to fail', make sense since most of the employees are fresh graduate/people with zero experience. THEN, the company need to re-manage the expectation towards the employee since you hire people with no experience, it is very normal to make mistakes. It became a problem because the punishment can be considered rather inhuman because developer and QA need to fix their mistakes by working almost 24 hours a day. 5. Team bonding. Not all people is comfortable going out every day after work in the name of "team bonding". If you cannot bond while you're working, then maybe you're giving too much work load and pressure to your employee. Besides, team bonding can be done in a special occasions only. Let's stay professional, your boss will never be your friend. 6. I have no peace of mind during the time I work here since everything could go wrong at anytime and your boss will scream at you at anytime because of your mistakes, in front of other people.
