      Autonomy - they trust you to get things done without needing much guidance

      As with any early stage startup, it's messy and things change constantly. Everyone is stretched thin so you really need to be self sufficient

      Pros

      Zilliz is a clear winner for the vector database market. Companies of all sizes switch over from competitors (Pinecone, Mongo, PGvector, Elastic, etc.). Collaborate environment from top down.

      Cons

      Brand-awareness isn’t as well known as some competitors since investment goes to product development over marketing budget.
