      Management makes it tough

      Pros

      The people make it great! A genuinely fun and positive atmosphere unlike any other industry.

      Cons

      Management and ownership meddle and truly drive down energy, happiness and results. Some of their hearts are in the right place, but higher management has their favorites, and if you aren't on that list, you won't be fired (unless you are on the sales team) - they'll wear you down until you quit. It's like high school at work.

      Flexible work hours with the chance to work with local businesses.

      Cons

      Terrible leadership and management, and most have never worked anywhere else. Zero personal reviews to learn how you’re performing or how you can get better unless you’re in sales. If you disagree with a sales manager or any other manager, you will be completely ostracized. Management has their favorites and if you don’t agree with every decision, you won’t be respected or have a chance to advance no matter how much time you’ve put in. If you want to grow personally, professionally and financially - don’t work here. Massive turnover and failure to retain good talent, especially in sales and programming.
