Pros

Zinio gives the employees a lot of career opportunities. In my case I started almost three years ago and right now I’m the Lead of my team. The company is really cool, always organising activities that gives you the opportunity to meet great people at all levels. If you are looking for a good quality of life the salaries are higher than the standard in Barcelona, and they also offer good benefits. They’re also very flexible with employees with regards to working remotely. Zinio has helped me to grow my career, allowing me to attend the best conferences and industry events.

Cons

Zinio is always looking for business opportunities, so sometimes the scope of the business changes and the dev has to adapt to the changes. If you can handle it Zinio is your places.

Pros

Immediate leaders are genuinely hardworking people and provide the best motivation for you to come to work and contribute to the success of the organization. This has been and still a very important aspect for me to stay in a company. The current platform migration will bring ZINIO to the next level and the fruit of all the intensive labor will definitely be rewarding. The culture of the headquarters office has recently improved and keeps growing. There are several talented and dedicated employees in the company. Mostly young but driven and very fitting individuals who add great dynamic to ZINIO. The location of the office is in the heart of Manhattan which means great access to awesome lunchbreak spots. The company offers monthly team lunches and summer Fridays as well. The HR and Management initiatives definitely create great work/life balance.

Cons

I witnessed a couple of employee turnovers but so far, the results have been for the better.

Pros

Most of the time you're left alone, which is nice. It's a good place to work if you want to spend your days looking for another job.

Cons

Compensation for non-executives is a disgrace. Employees are drastically underpaid by industry standards and they know it and it looms over the office like a black cloud which higher ups refuse to acknowledge. Zinio is literally at the bottom of the barrel in terms of salary comp. Beware, management feels sporadic pizza parties (usually every other month) fall into the "terrific bonus" category. There are no bonuses, there is no 401k Match, there are no perks of any kind. Zero.
