Pros

Remote. They pay your wifi and phone.

Cons

Toxic work environment. You can go above and beyond & they will still find a way to put you down. CEO is constantly talking down to everyone in public chats. They pay for your wifi and phone, but you use your own personal computer which seems like a security issue. High turnovers- randomly fire employees, and hire new ones constantly. Everyone seems overworked and unhappy.

Pros

Fully remote and great software

Cons

Get ready… -Low pay and poor benefits (no PTO, 401k match, commission, equipment) -Most of the leadership team and HR are unethical and incompetent; they rarely interact with the team unless there is an issue -Little opportunity for advancement. You will start as a Relations-, Leasing-, or Onboarding- (etc.) “Manager”. You will also end there, unless you get promoted to shift manager or dept head, which isn't a good thing. Keep your head down, do good work/meet quotas, and hope they give you the raises they promised in the beginning if your productivity increased (they won’t). Get your real estate license and they will give you a $2.00 raise. They will reimburse you for the course fee as well. -I’m not sure what department heads do other than call people on their mistakes -Negative atmosphere: a manager admitted to me that those in leadership constantly talk poorly about employees, engage in gossip, and complain about petty issues -No culture: just get in, send 50 emails, do what your leader should be doing, possibly get publicly humiliated, and get out -High turnover, senseless firing, and constantly understaffed; sink or swim mentality; guidance provided in the form of being publicly chastised; poor management of employee schedule requests and limitations. -Security concerns (the previous review that stated employees use their own equipment and therefore have sensitive client information, documents, and bank account details downloaded on their computer is 100% accurate. I still find occasional Ziprent detritus on my computer). -No care, empathy, or loyalty for employees: leaders actively prevent advancement of teammates they don’t like, teammates with depression/health issues/learning disabilities or who were a bit older than most of the other staff were discriminated against and targeted, and there seemed to be conflicts between certain department managers that impeded teamwork and operational efficiency -A bit of CEO micromanagement, but I didn’t think it was too bad actually. “Smile and nod”, be respectful, then go back to kicking butt at your job! Don't bother. Looks like the starting pay is much less now too (almost half as much). Super cool.

Pros

Very little to say here.

Cons

Multiple issues. First, the only metric is productivity is based on sending out at least 50 emails a day. This encourages people to find the easy emails to respond to and ignore the ones that take more time. I was told by supervisors to start the day off by scanning the inbox and replying to any of the short emails with a "thanks!" Send 10 or 15 of those in your first hour, then you have time to focus on the real work. The CEO is VERY "hands on" and likes to jump in on tickets that catch his attention, which would normally be a good thing, but since he doesn't bother to find out what's been done before or what the person is working on, his suggestions are just noise taking up space. Most of what he suggests implies that the team has done nothing before he chimed in, and is sitting around unaware of any way forward. This is rarely if ever the case, and I was told by multiple teams just to "humor him" when he shows up in a case thread. The larger issue is that the company doesn't provide hardware, we all use our own computers. This is a huge security issue, as I have several people's personal information, including paystubs, bank information, and applications on my computer right now. That means others likely do as well. Since these are personal computers, there is no security guaranteed. This isn't just a problem for employees, but for clients and customers as well. Terrible business practice. Finally the pay isn't very good, (especially if they're not providing any equipment and employees are expected to use their own computers and phones.) there are NO holidays off, and the PTO schedule is ridiculous.) Even the health care plan is a joke.
