Pros

- You can learn how not to run a company. A helpful learning opportunity if you're just starting out in your career I guess.

Cons

- Working for Founder and CEO Ziver Birg. This is really the root cause of all the cons... - CEO is childish, thinks he's above treating his team with respect, thinks he's god's gift to this earth, can't make intelligent decisions, is extremely impulsive, is easily influenced by flattery, can't remember directives or decisions he's made on a day-to-day basis which result in constant operational chaos, spends money on showy office decor and marketing but not on actually providing a quality product, has burned through hundreds of employees in a few short years, takes zero responsibility for his failings as a leader, blames poor company performance and reviews on bad employees who aren't "A players like him", is highly manipulative and will lay on the charm to get you on board then flip the switch and treat you like dirt beneath his feet once you've been there a couple months, won't outright fire you if he's unhappy but will instead tell everyone else on the team that you're doing a bad job and apply crazy pressure and nasty behavior toward you until you quit, rewards loyalty with broken compensation promises, is stingy with equity, doesn't value his employees fairly, takes credit for others' good ideas while refusing to take responsibility for company failures, talks about caring about philanthropy but has never implemented any real philanthropy programs, spends company profits on flashy cars and nice watches rather than investing in his team and failing operation, encourages a big-brother style micromanagement culture, throws tantrums and goes home for the day if something displeases him, walks out of meetings that he doesn't understand, has no idea how the company actually operates but insists on making all important decisions anyway, encourages (intimidates?) current staff to leave positive Glassdoor reviews and has obviously left a few fake positive reviews himself. - Lower than market compensation and paid time off in exchange for the promise of future growth and profit distributions that never come (trickle down economic theory, anyone?) - Lack of organizational processes in almost every department means that even the most basic tasks break down over and over again. - Bad reputation with customers and partners. - The stress is bad for your health, mentally and physically. - The 6 months or less that you'll waste here is time (and reduced pay) that you can never get back. Do yourself a favor and take that other opportunity you're comparing this one to.

Pros

The only positive about ZIVELO existed in 2013, since then, it's don't nothing but spiral downward. Much like the last company this founder tanked.

Cons

Fake people...proven by the ridiculous 'feel-good' reviews that are only created to bash those that have posted the truth. If those 'positive' reviews don't provide a large enough window into the inner workings of the bitterness and immaturity going on at this place, I don't know what would. To be flat out honest and not entertain the back and forth passive aggressiveness that's being promoted on this professional site: 1. You will not be happy here because you will never feel like you're getting the full story. 2. The pay is garbage; when it's decent, you know you're one of the first in line to be 'laid-off' when there have been some poor sales months (which are plentiful). 3. The product, production, and QA/QC are laughable...the price and lead time is insulting to any serious buyer. 4. The 'negative' reviewers are not lazy, disgruntled, ignorant, or out for revenge. Most left on their own, so why would they be out for vengeance? It's apparent that the ego of the 'company' cannot deal with the truth about their operations and they've resulted in borderline insults to the integrity of past employees. Just save yourself the drama of a bad reality show and find a real company to work for that knows what real perks are.

Pros

At least the office is located within Scottsdale Fashion Mall for some good post-work shopping. Oh, and they have free coffee. Great designer and self=promoter.

Cons

The CEO Ziver Birg has no business running the business. Worst culture I have ever witnessed within an organization. Incredibly toxic. Takes micromanagement to the next level. Paralysis of analysis. Broken promises to customer. They virtually have no repeat business.
