Pros

I honestly tried to think of something, but there is none.

Cons

This company has the most poor management. They will set ridiculous deadlines and cause you to work day and night in order to complete the work. When you discuss this with management they just say that the work must be completed. There is absolutely no work/life balance while working at this company. The only time you can talk to management is when things are going well, but when you express that the deadlines don't make sense and are unattainable, or that you feel overworked and burnt out, they ignore you and say that you must complete the work because the company has certain targets. When speaking to your other colleagues they feel under appreciated and burnt out but are afraid to speak up. It's really sad seeing people literally drown because of work and not having the power to do anything about it. I'm writing this in the hopes that someone will see it and that I'll be able to help someone because they go through what I went through.

Pros

Work life balance was good.

Cons

Joined Zulzi after being sold on growth, stability, and long-term opportunity, only to be retrenched within a few months. One of the most disappointing professional experiences I’ve had. The company talks heavily about innovation and scaling, but internally there appeared to be major instability, poor planning, and a lack of transparency around the actual financial and operational situation. It became clear very quickly that leadership either did not understand the severity of the situation early enough or chose not to communicate it honestly to new hires. The engineering team itself was hardworking and capable, but developers were constantly dealing with shifting priorities, uncertainty, and reactive decision-making. There was little confidence that projects had long-term direction or support. Being retrenched almost immediately after joining — after turning down other opportunities and committing to the company — showed a serious lack of responsibility toward employees and candidates. Hiring people into an environment that unstable without clearer communication is incredibly unfair.
