Great environment but bad management
Pros
- Awesome friendly environment - Great work equipment - Barbecues with the team - Work remotely - Open vacation policy - Free uber to the office - Good health insurance
Cons
- HUGE DISCLAIMER, during the interview process, no one tells you that you will be signing an offer with an outsource company and not with Zyda -the company itself- and I was shocked as I got to sign the offer only AFTER I joined the company. - stressful work environment as you are expected to be on call after work hours, on holidays and on weekends - super chaotic process for everything - much time is wasted on planning and then everything planned for can get scratched - HR is super unprofessional and did straight out lie to employees (promised referral bonus but when asked, they said that they are still drafting the referral policy .. a year later and they are still drafting the policy) - HR asked employees working there and the ones who were leaving to sign an NON COMPETE AGREEMENT that lasted 2 years which is super unethical and did not mention it in the job offer. - There is no annual pay increase. - Although it is a flexible work environment but you are almost not guaranteed to take the public holidays, well a holiday. - HR was super lax for urgent positions that needed to be filled and took more than 3 month to hire an accepted candidate - Also, The free Uber is only free when you are going to the office before 9 am and leaving after 5pm (got to know this only after joining the company) - there is no overtime paid - i did not gain any new technical skills during my work there
