Great colleagues but average corporate culture

Pros

Great professional and friendly colleagues, no micromanagement from bosses, awesome opportunities for cheap travel. Big corporate name but at the same time not the most perfect reputation. Good place for recently graduates who are getting experience and not aiming for average/high figures ($)

Cons

Feels like top management of department doesn't trust own employees (not allowing to work from home at least few hours..) You always have to notify if you are not working standard office hours. Health insurance is very basic. Hard to get promotions($). Top management insists on working 120% on daily basis, not motivating and rewarding, but making threats, that's not the best motivation as I think

Modern fleet, very communicative CEO

Cons

Modern fleet with problematic engines, Safe but requires extra maintenance. Flying a lot of ACMIs out for various other airlines, crew are sent to hotels in various cities for weeks at a time, have to call for other ACMIs in to cover the flights from Riga. No teamwork, it's becoming a very egoistic atmosphere as people are getting more and more discontent, dispatch not willing to make adjustments with the schedules. Salaries haven't changed for more than a decade although living in Latvia has become very expensive. The very communicative CEO reminds his employees every week that if their are not happy, they can leave.

Insurance, layovers, management, colleagues, new aircrafts, chilled atmosphere, CEO vision and lots more

Cons

Salary, 750e/m net basic, expect to double it if you have a lot of layovers. Enough to live in Riga but still quite poor compared with the competitors.
