Pros

lets you work from home

Cons

the CEO is a liar. He does not live up to his word. He tells you one thing and does another. He promises you that he will get you leads and then he makes you buy them. He doesn't pay you on time and lies that he sent the check. He makes you read a 37 page Novella and then tests you on it. He is a master manipulator.

In the 20 long years that I've been in this incredible business, I have learned that when you maintain high standards and make firm business decisions, like cutting off a recruiter from company-funded resources for poor performance, it doesn't always end well. So a reaction like this isn't entirely unexpected. As always, and before I begin, I want to thank you for this review. In your case, I would have preferred it to be more accurate, but I always welcome and appreciate the opportunity to set the record straight on this platform. First, recruiters are not required to purchase leads from our company. We are a staffing and recruiting firm, not a lead-generating service that sells leads. We have been testing ways to help new recruiters succeed faster, such as providing referrals to our industry-leading employment advertising partners, which help recruiters make even more money through their lead-generating services. We have also tested providing recruiters with some of our company-generated leads as a reward for their hard work and excellent performance. Either way, recruiters are not currently provided or promised access to leads in any way as part of our advertisements, job descriptions, training materials, or agreement to work together. In the rare instances when company-generated leads are offered to a recruiter, those leads represent a significant financial investment by our company. As with any business investment, we expect a reasonable return on that investment. Therefore, when a recruiter consistently underperforms or fails to convert the company-funded leads that were provided to them at no cost into new hires, we unfortunately have to stop providing those leads and allocate those limited resources to recruiters who can deliver stronger results. That decision isn't a lie or a broken promise. It's simply a responsible business decision. Second, the statement that we do not pay recruiters on time is completely false. Since founding this company nearly 20 years ago, we have never failed to pay a recruiter every dollar they've earned. Not once. We take tremendous pride in that record and work extremely hard to ensure our recruiters are paid every dollar they're owed and on time. If there are ever any issues with a recruiters pay, everybody knows that I can always be reached at the exact same phone number recruiters have used to contact me for two decades, which is 1-800-706-0907 Ext. 7 and I'll get it corrected immediately. Finally, yes, we definitely require recruiters to read all of our training material, pass an open-book test, and know what they're talking about before we allow them to interact with applicants who are applying for any of the positions we offer. We will make no apologies for that. Our recruiters speak directly with job seekers, explain important details such as a complete job description, compensation plans, realistic expectations, review qualification requirements, and represent both our company and our client. Therefore, demanding that new recruiters study and learn the information so they can provide experienced knowledge and informed answers to applicants who need real, reliable answers is not only reasonable to expect, it is required. Working as a professional recruiter with high standards is not for everyone. It requires real effort, accountability, professionalism, and a willingness to learn everything there is to know about the positions we offer and all of our policies and procedures. Recruiters who are lazy, take shortcuts, or prefer to make it up as they go along will not make it with us and will never be welcomed back on our team under any circumstances. While the recruiters who work hard and embrace our high standards are the recruiters who achieve the most success. In closing, we always hope for real, honest feedback on this platform, but even when we don't get it, we still appreciate the opportunity to give prospective recruiters an accurate description of the position, the standards we maintain, and the expectations associated with representing our great company. Pros

None. Stay away from this place.

Cons

Type bwpcareers.com into google (not Glassdoor) and negative reviews will magically pop up. Obviously this CEO is very active with trying to game the system to appear like a legit, fair company. It’s basically an MLM. You Have to pay for advertising yourself. When you can’t pay, you’re fired and they just go through a new round of people to pay more advertising. Rinse and repeat. I’m also guessing a lot of these reviews are fake as they all seem to have very similar writing styles.

First, thank you for taking the time to post your review. We do our best to learn from every review we receive, whether positive or negative. In this case, much of what you said doesn't accurately reflect who we are or our business model, so I'll clarify a few points for readers who may eventually see this review. 1. Both positive and negative reviews are a normal part of any business that's actually doing business and operating as long as we have and at the scale we operate. That's not a problem. We will always welcome legitimate reviews because we're always happy to learn and implement changes where needed. 2. As the President and CEO of our great company, it's true, I am actively involved in our daily operations. Anyone who has worked with our company knows that I can always be reached at the same number workers have used to reach me for the last two decades. I'm always happy to help when and where I can. But I'm definitely not spending my time trying to "game the system to appear legit." I'm way too busy for that. And we don't get that many negative reviews. So if "gaming the system" were even possible, it wouldn't be necessary. 3. We are a staffing and recruiting company, not a virtual call center. So yes, our recruiters post their own ads (both paid and free) to generate their own applicants. This is not a new concept for contract recruiters. It's one of the first things you read when you visit our website, and it is clearly explained in our job description and training material. This is also why our recruiters, and every other independent contract recruiter in the world, make the significant amount of money they make. Again, this is all very common in our industry. 4. Finally, Glassdoor maintains its own policies regarding the integrity of reviews, so nobody can remove reviews, post fake reviews, and/or manipulate user reviews on their platform in any way. Everybody knows that. But again, thank you for taking the time to post this review. If nothing else, you have provided me with another opportunity to clarify how our company operates, show readers that we're a real company that cares and stays engaged, and, most importantly, help readers make informed financial decisions for themselves and their families. So thank you for that. I wish you nothing but success going forward. Kerry Spry President and CEO bwpcareers.com Office: 800-706-0907 Ext. 7

Thank you for taking time out of your day to leave this positive review. It means a lot to me. I work extremely hard to help all of our recruiters have a positive and financially productive experience while working with us here at bwpcareers.com. I'm happy to work as long and as hard as needed to make sure that happens. And in the end, a positive review like yours makes all the hard work and necessary sacrifices worth every bit. Thanks again. This really means a lot to me. I really appreciate your positive support. Kerry Spry President and CEO bwpcareers.com 800-706-0907 Ext. 7
