c-Systems is a small company, with just under 50 employees - and we pride ourselves on the fact almost half of them have been with the company for more than 10 years. While it is true that we have some older employees, I'm not sure that an average age of 46 years old constitutes a "very elderly staff". Several of these veterans ensure that we remain the most comprehensive and innovative system available for Outdoor Power Equipment, Agricultural and Power Sports dealers, by using their depth of knowledge for the software and the industry to develop new features and products. Along with acting as mentors for newer, less experienced employees, they bring a level of stability to the company that many would envy.
Accusations of "Racism, Close-Mindedness, Bigotry..." are completely untrue. The company has a diverse group of individuals comprised of various nationalities and gender. Having worked closely with them for many years, I can truly say that any comments regarding a "resident Asian" were made in jest, with both parties enjoying a laugh; as the person in question is one of the friendliest, most well respected members of the staff.
The company has two major and one minor shareholders:
President, Steve Stinson, manages the Sales and Customer Support departments;
Jim Phelan, Vice President, heads up Accounting, Programming and Marketing
Stan Green oversees testing and documentation of our legacy system
As with any company, there are bound to be differences in opinions and management style. These may become more apparent as responsibilities cross departments, so that discussion and compromise is necessary to settle on a course of action.
