Core talent is leaving very quickly

Pros

None anymore. The company "appears" to be in a very desperate rush to sell the company and make shareholders liquid.

Cons

Almost all core team members with long tenure have left the company, with departures increasing sharply in recent months. Anyone considering working for the company or relying on its software should take this into account.

Pros

- Specific hiring that has created one of the best team cultures I've ever been part of - Great support at all levels of the organisation including both domestically and internationally - Small teams mean we are regularly exposed to incredible projects, tasks and experiences on a weekly basis

Cons

- Lack of ESPP - Being based in this timezone we miss a lot of company updates in real time - Hard to really think of any other cons

Pros

- The knowledge gained so far is tremendous (i.e. smart team) - commercetools is at the cutting edge - I have great confidence in the products, as they "just work" - My direct local team are all a pleasure to work with

Cons

- Timezones during daylight savings time can be difficult (i.e. post 6pm meetings can pop up from time to time) - There is so much value information now in many places that it's sometimes hard to find what you're looking for quickly
