      Some great people, but still trying to figure out culture identity

      Pros

      * brilliant people * very promising product

      Cons

      * near complete lack of support for remote work (creating a void of culture) and really hyped about getting people back into the office / butts in chairs * no apparent interest in being a "fun" tech startup (they call themselves a firm - consider investment bankers their peers, not software shops) * salaries below market across the board (and no ESOP to balance that - or if you get it, it's not worth anything until 3+ years in) * staff retention problems (currently ~2021)

      Pros

      Great developer culture, relaxed working environment, great product, and a transparent management! WFH culture since before the pandemic. You will be recognized for doing good work.

      Cons

      Office space is with 111 but they're likely moving soon anyway, and work seems a bit random and unplanned instead of being planned out in advance.
