Pros

- great for a first job out of college to gain experience and confidence - lots of educational opportunities

Cons

- Lack of organization in the company. - Onboarding and marketing for clients is an absolute mess (honestly the agency may just need to move toward being a HubSpot support agency than a marketing agency b/c they really skim over important marketing deliverables. If you'd like to deliver A+ marketing deliverables, this is not the place for you. Their marketing is full of typos, inconsistencies, and lack of branding). - Employees are not rewarded for how well they do, but rather, those who do nothing but then pretend they do work are rewarded. - 8 different employees quit in 7 months (the team only had like 15 people). That should be a HUGE red flag to you. Turnover rate is TERRIBLE (employees last on average 6-8 months) and those who stay get the work of those who left dumped on them for no extra pay or promotion/advancement. - Management is a mess and has no idea what your job entails so they cannot support you the way you need to be supported. - Clients are constantly unhappy with the way digitalJ2's processes are. Working with unhappy clients is not a pleasant experience. - The CEO requests loyalty from employees without giving any back. - Compensation/pay is DIRT CHEAP compared to what you can make anywhere else. Don't let them lull you into thinking you can make money with the "bonus pay", either. It's taxed at an EXTREMELY high rate for some reason and oftentimes it's just not possible to get the extra hours if the clients don't need it, so never ever count on it. - The CEO requests GlassDoor reviews from current employees around their first month of employment there (when they know he will be reading it so it's not anonymous), so that's the only reason the rating here is so high. Don't be fooled. Run. You can do better.

Pros

DigitalJ2 is remote. It makes the job incredibly convenient. I have really enjoyed the team dynamics. We all work well really well together. We also communicate clearly and set expectations up front that makes the job easier. I also feel like we have incredible clients as they have been great to work with.

Cons

The work can be difficult at times and everything we do requires a lot of well-written communication to prevent any hiccups.
