Pros

You’ll never take a normal workplace for granted again.

I wouldn’t recommend anyone, not even my worst enemy, to join this company. Calling it a “hell hole” sounds dramatic, but it didn’t feel far off. Payal and Rajat, the founders, will make your life miserable. Forget weekends, weekdays, or sleep: you’re expected to work like you owe your existence to the company. While we are on that topic, those ESOPs they keep hyping? Oh well... They’ll chip away at your confidence and self-worth until you start doubting your own abilities. Don’t take my word for it, just message anyone currently working there on LinkedIn, and you’ll see for yourself. The pay might look decent, especially for freshers, but the work and the culture is so toxic that you’ll struggle to be employable elsewhere once you’re out (or, more likely, fired on a whim). If you still have doubts and are considering an interview with them, please ask a few questions. Ask them to define the work hours you'd be expected to give to the company on a sunday. Ask how much their revenue has actually grown. Ask how many employees they’ve hired in the past year, and how many of those they’ve fired. And while you’re at it, ask why those people were fired. Those answers will tell you more than any Glassdoor reply ever could. And Rajat or Payal: if you’re planning to reply with something along the lines of “we’re the top-rated GMAT course,” or “we’re the number one and number two instructors,” or anything about how much the company is "growing", just know this: you can make things look pretty on the outside, but maybe it’s time to reflect a little on the inside. Comparing apples with mangoes doesn’t make a point, and neither does deflecting from what’s actually being said. Please take logic into consideration. I’m leaving this review in the hope that: a) people considering joining are a little more aware of what they might be getting into, and b) you take this as a chance to reflect on how you treat the people building your product. I know the product you’re creating is great, that’s never been the issue. I just hope this gives you some perspective on what it feels like for those contributing to it. Maybe talk to your employees, ask how they’re doing and ask them without the implicit threat that anyone can be fired at any moment. I hope you take this less as a rant and more as feedback you forgot to ask for. — A former employee, sharing one honest account.

The company is good if you are looking for work from home job. Pay is fine and the work pressure is also manageable.
