Pros

Great people to work with and a friendly atmosphere that allows you to get on with work without office politics or a lot of the red tape you find in large, very corporate organisations. The office is in a great location for me with a good hybrid mix of being in the office, WFH and visiting clients. Never boring - constant innovation of new products and features along with a rapidly changing market means there is always something new to do, learn or get involved in. A huge variety of clients and the list is always growing; I really enjoy speaking with so many different people from a range of industries around the world and especially being able to visit clients face to face at their offices. Freedom to share ideas with colleagues without criticism. Not being micro-managed allows you to handle your workload and manage clients needs in a way which benefits everyone and get the best results. Lots of support from colleagues - there is always someone willing to help. Opportunity to progress internally into other roles. Good work/life balance. + Benefits such as gym membership, paid parking, extra holiday after X amount of years etc.

Cons

We don't always set aside enough time to reflect on/celebrate good work. More performance/talent reviews and development/progression plans would be nice. As a new starter, the complexity of everything can be quite daunting especially if you do not come from a recruitment/TA background (although almost all colleagues do) - possibly in need of an improved induction/training process. Benefits/Compensation package has areas for improvement although some changes are in the pipeline as far as I'm aware.

Pros

I have been working at eArcu since February 2020. I wasn’t sure about moving to a new company at first but haven’t looked back since. Great support though out the pandemic and on-going. Great culture and work colleagues. Flexible working and has adapted since the pandemic. Latest technology and updated quarterly with clients requirements with the changing times. For example, Video interviewing, furlough portals. Internal promotion and progression opportunities. Since working for the company I have been promoted to my current role in under two years. I was supported thought the process and the company paid for a external course to help with my new role. Due to the ATS system it being bespoke and regularly updated there is always something new to learn. Every day is different which keeps the job interesting. This keeps the role interesting and to learn new knowledge daily. These skills can be applied across many different roles in the future. eArcu is now part of the PageUp group so opens up more future potentials. Good benefits such as private health care, gym membership and sick pay. Still advantages of working for a smaller company, management is open to new ideas and trust employees to manage their workload to meet goals/objectives.

Cons

Smaller size business day to day, if you prefer large organisation’s. The company has started to grow more since the acquisition so more potential future opportunities within the group. The software is bespoke, involves lots of training to learn the system. Need to be open to learn new systems, be able to problem solve and have dedication.

Pros

You could work at home

Cons

An environment where you were regularly encouraged to act in an unethical way. Misleading and deception are the central pillars of the company culture

Having just recently obtained access to the eArcu glassdoor page, it was concerning to read this feedback. eArcu was acquired by PageUp late 2021, and whilst I am unable to speak to the culture of eArcu or your experience within eArcu prior to acquisition, we can confidently say that the PageUp company culture is built on integrity and respect. Our code of conduct policies are clear in outlining expected behaviours and these policies apply to all group companies. Given the seriousness of your comments, I invite you to contact our SVP Global Talent directly via talent@pageuppeople.com to set up a confidential conversation so we might fully understand your concerns, and if required take appropriate action in line with our code of conduct policies.
