Awesome Benefit

Pros

Some of the benefit you will get: - Claimable travel expenses; mileage, toll and parking - Claimable home office set up, including monthly claim on your Wi-Fi bill - Project allowance - Unlimited Coursera training - they make it a must for you to complete certain hours of training per year as part of your KPI. Shows that they encourage growth. - They sometimes have brown bag sessions, where your peers share knowledge with you. If you take these sessions seriously, you can engage in the session and learn so much from experience An environment is only toxic if you get involved in the toxicity. Find out who in the company that could help you grow, and constantly get their advice and support. Everyone that I know in eCEOs had superb experience and professionality. You don't just report to your reporting manager, you will work with so many managers and will learn different management styles. Just because it's out of your norm, does not mean that the manager doesn't know what they are doing. Once you're in a project, you may have to work in different ways or processes that you are used to. So you need to be fluid and flexible. The character growth in the company is *chef's kiss*

Cons

The HQ office in Plaza Sentral is not nice. No office toilet, you would need to use the toilet shared with the whole floor. The office itself is not well maintained. If you're joining as a PMO consultant, it's fine because you'll mostly be onsite. But if you're in the technical or office team, kesian.

Average, but depends

Pros

- Easy to climb the ladder (esp. if you play along with office politics) - Bonus roughly around 1-3 months, depending on the performance - Yearly increment usually 5-15% increment (actually it depends on your salary, since the increment would be in specific amount e.g. RM XXX, not based on percentage). - Friendly colleague, easy to get along - Benefits quite good (can claim for WFH equipment, project allowance). - Good career growth (if you prove yourself as someone who's worthy) - Project-based, hence many things to learn since different company has different business requirements

Cons

- Too much office politics - Can opt for hybrid working mode / fully WFH but salary will be deducted accordingly (but depends on the project. Some projects require you to be on-site). - Some Project Managers like to force you to work outside of working hours (due to their busy schedule, not our schedule. So please set your boundaries properly) - Some managers with hands off attitude when it involves fussy clients, because they want to take care of themselves only. - Not too much diversity.
