Pros

Worthy cause - you're literally keeping people alive and well if you do your job well. Good benefits e.g ADOs, sick leave Chief Exec

Cons

Public sector mentality for many workers means they are pushing work back and forth to keep their jobs Crazy amount of red tape under the auspices of governance Very old school IT way of doing things Highly political There's lots of "lantern" employees - people who don't work very well and need to be picked up and carried Seen as an implementation arm of the Ministry of Health but really struggles with quality implementation Average pay for IT

Pros

Work life balance, supportive management, many opportunities for professional development, organisation is working hard to improve its culture. You also received additional leaves such as ADO, FACS leave. Other benefits include salary package and meal entertainment to help your tax deduction.

Cons

Project works and resource allocation are heavily depended on the funding availability rather than the scope and workload. Often you have employees assigned to projects waiting for work but can’t be reassigned to other project work that lack of funding.

Pros

Challenging work, that's all I can really say. Friendly enough team save for managment and lead members.

Cons

Quality Assurance of work is lacking in upper levels. Team leader was known for inappropriate behaviour and bullying staff. When reported to HR, the team manager sided with the team leader and did not support team members. One fellow staff member was targetted the most and resigned after duress. I left shortly thereafter after witnessing these events.
