Micromanagement and Toxic Work Environment

Pros

It is only good for you if you don't have any experience. However, entry-level pay is really low despite the fact that you are buried with work way above your pay grade .

Cons

This company is the definition of micromanagement. The so-called managers lack any meaningful managing experience, often attaining their positions through associations with top-level management or sycophantic behavior. Pay raises have become a thing of the past as the company relentlessly trims costs. Employees face substantial exploitation, with little regard for their well-being. Despite top management's efforts to promote a positive atmosphere and culture, the reality is an exceptionally toxic environment. Positive reviews on Glassdoor are predominantly composed by the management themselves. The CEO's extreme micromanagement style trickles down through all organizational layers. The sales team is practically nonexistent, and all employees are required to engage in sales activities, which are beyond their job descriptions and not compensated. In the past, when raises were available, requesting one involved writing a paper explaining why you should get a raise, which is completely absurd. Senior positions are occupied by individuals who were hired during the company's growth phase, making it nearly impossible to secure a promotion that might threaten their positions, even if more qualified. The company's IT infrastructure is bad, with no dedicated IT department. Overtime work is frequently demanded, and any grievances about it can lead to challenging situations. A significant number of employees have resigned due to the unbearable experience of being insulted by their managers or CEO, forming an ongoing trend.

Pros

The location is great, with good coffee and effective air conditioning. The majority of people are nice and friendly, and the environment is relatively clean and tidy. Working hours can be a plus for some.

Cons

The company struggles with issues such as excessive micromanagement, a lack of professionalism in setting tasks, goals and individual achievements, plus there are too many overpaid managers with deficient language and people skills. The workplace is tainted by pervasive toxic positivity, and there's a notable disregard for the concerns and income of lower-level employees. Career advancement, especially in-house, is severely limited, contributing to overall dissatisfaction among staff. Overtime is unpaid as well.
