About the only pro is having a job (even this one) is better than not having a job.

Where to begin? This company has NO CLUE how a title company is run. This place proves, "It isn't what you know, but who you know". Title examiners have almost no resources, and they are discouraged from using the existing resources because, "It costs too much money". The result is an examiner trying to do his or her best Harry Houdini impression. The abstract department is a complete joke. When I asked an abstractor why he provided me with a mortgage eliminated by foreclosure? He replied, "Because if I don't I will be flagged for an error." I explained that a mortgage (this one was almost 30 years old) removed by foreclosure of a senior lien won't be discharged, but it is just as much removed from title. He replied, "I know, but they will still write me up." Anyone with any knowledge or ability quickly leaves. Oh, and of course they will salary you and expect you to work from sun up until sun down. And they want you to sign a non-compete agreement! Don't sign it, I didn't. They will also go through your stuff in the pursuit of their almighty "paperless policy". They even asked me to take down a sticky note, because it showed the address of a business. I explained this business wants people to see the name and address of the company. It is called "advertising". That is why that company gave out the sticky notes! This place is a complete dead end. Don't come here! You WILL regret it.
