The company leadership. Site leadership are bully’s and intimidate their staff into making decisions that they don’t want to. Global leadership see no value in long term commitment to the company. Employees are not valued. And new leadership just continue to bring in new people that they previously worked with, without offering opportunities to existing staff. Opportunities for promotion seem highly dependant on which site you are in.

No communication, management is hypermasculinated. Lots of egoes unsupported by any real life achievements. Leaders only care to look well for the visitors from US or the occasional auditors. After the audit or safety walk was over, standards slipped back to old ways. No hope for any career progression. People stopped from joining union will miss the opportunity to use the power of collective bargaining, if you’re a brown nose, you will thrive in this environment. Lots of family members sucking up and scheming to ensure positions on the shift for their halfwitted kids. Many leaving to go to Amgen across the road.
