Remote work was allowed which helped
The CEO seemed well-intentioned
You learn what not to tolerate
Some coworkers were kind and supportive
Leaving gave me my life back
Cons
Micromanagement instead of leadership
Career growth was empty talk
Toxic politics and favoritism everywhere
Burnout was common and ignored
Ideas were discouraged or stolen
Complex, interesting and very well structured project.
They were trying to keep up with the most recent technologies.
Very structured company with well defined processes.
Friendly colleagues always willing to share knowledge and help.
Cons
The work environment itself has no cons. The company, though, recently suffered a layoff (and I was affected by it). I believe this could be avoided if they didn't hire new people based on a demand that would only appear if new clients joined their business, which never happened.
Flat hierarchies, employees (sometimes) can shape the product with their ideas, incredible team
Cons
No consultation with developers about what deadlines are possible. The deadlines are basically just fantasy numbers of the marketing team which results in near to impossible deadlines and hard crunches for the dev team.
